Amazon Policy

At Amzigo, we are committed to providing an intuitive platform that helps Amazon sellers optimise and automate key processes, such as review requests, sales analysis, and product performance tracking. This policy explains how Amzigo integrates with Amazon Seller Central and sets forth the responsibilities of both Amzigo and its users regarding the platform’s usage.

As part of our integration with Amazon’s Selling Partner API, Amzigo requires certain permissions to access and manage relevant data from your Seller Central account. Some of these permissions — such as Pricing or Finance and Accounting — are included in our authorisation scope to accommodate upcoming features currently under development.

While these permissions are registered and approved with Amazon for future functionality, Amzigo does not currently access or use any pricing or financial data from connected accounts. These permissions simply ensure a seamless rollout of new tools as we expand the platform into a more feature-led application beyond automated review requests.

By using Amzigo and integrating your Amazon Seller Central account, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.

Access to Your Amazon Account

When you connect your Amazon Seller Central account to Amzigo, you are granting us the necessary permissions to access specific data from your account. This data may include:

  • Sales and order information: To track sales, profits, and product performance.
  • Customer reviews and feedback: To manage review requests and help improve your product’s reputation.
  • Inventory levels and stock data: For stock management and restock notifications.
  • Advertising data: To provide insights into your ad spend and return on investment (if applicable).

Amzigo requests access through Amazon’s official authorisation process using OAuth within Seller Central. All permissions are registered and approved under Amazon’s Selling Partner API policies, and data access is strictly limited to features that have been enabled by the user. API credentials are securely encrypted and rotated at least annually in line with Amazon’s credential-management standards.

Amzigo uses this data exclusively to provide the services available through our platform. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any purposes other than those required to deliver our services.

You must ensure that you provide accurate and up-to-date information when connecting your Amazon account to Amzigo. Any inaccurate or outdated data may affect the functionality of the platform, for which Amzigo holds no liability.

You may revoke Amzigo’s access at any time from within your Seller Central account. When access is revoked or your account is terminated, Amzigo will permanently delete any remaining Amazon data in accordance with our Data Policy and Amazon’s deletion requirements.

Scope of Amazon Integration

Amzigo integrates with Amazon’s Seller Central API to automate key features, including but not limited to:

  • Automated Review Requests: Using the official “Request a Review” system, we automatically send Amazon-compliant review and feedback requests to customers.
  • Product Performance Analytics: Real-time tracking of product performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and suggesting restocking based on sales trends.
  • Multi-Marketplace Management: Accessing and managing multiple Amazon marketplace accounts from a single dashboard.

Amzigo is a third-party service provider and is not endorsed or affiliated with Amazon. Any changes made by Amazon to their API, policies, or features may impact how Amzigo functions. We will make every effort to adapt to such changes and inform users accordingly.

Compliance with Amazon Policies

Amzigo is designed to comply with Amazon’s rules, regulations, and policies, including but not limited to:

  • Amazon Terms of Service: All actions taken by Amzigo follow Amazon’s guidelines.
  • Review Policies: Our Automated Review Centre uses only Amazon-approved methods (e.g. the “Request a Review” button) to ensure compliance.
  • Data Handling: We access and process Amazon data in line with the Data Protection Policy (DPP), the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and other relevant requirements.

Amzigo maintains detailed records of its integration, permissions, and data-handling processes and cooperates fully with Amazon or its affiliates, agents, representatives, contractors, or subcontractors during any audit or assessment to verify compliance.

However, it is the user’s responsibility to ensure that their use of the platform, including any actions taken through Amzigo, complies with Amazon’s policies. Users should familiarise themselves with the following Amazon documents:

  • Seller Code of Conduct
  • Review Manipulation Guidelines
  • Product Listing Guidelines

Non-compliance with these policies can result in account suspension or termination by Amazon. Amzigo disclaims any responsibility for such actions taken by Amazon against your account.

User Responsibilities

By using Amzigo, you agree to:

  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure all actions taken through Amzigo comply with Amazon’s Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide Accurate Data: Supply accurate and up-to-date information when connecting your Amazon Seller Central account; Amzigo is not liable for issues caused by inaccurate data.
  • Use Properly: Refrain from using Amzigo in any way that violates Amazon’s rules or misuses the platform’s features (e.g. spamming review requests).
  • Acknowledge Amazon’s Authority: Understand that Amazon may suspend or terminate your Seller Central account for policy violations, and Amzigo is not responsible for such actions.

Data Privacy and Security

At Amzigo, we take the privacy and security of your Amazon data seriously. All data transferred between Amazon and Amzigo is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+ and stored securely using AES-256 encryption and managed Key Management Systems.
Amzigo accesses only the minimum data required to provide its services and retains Personally Identifiable Information (PII) for no longer than 30 days after order delivery, unless longer retention is required by law. Non-PII data is retained for up to 18 months for analytical purposes, consistent with Amazon’s Data Protection Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Amzigo account credentials. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately so we can take appropriate measures.

For more information on how we handle your data, please refer to our [Data Policy].

  • Loss of Sales or Revenue: Any direct or indirect financial losses arising from use of our platform.
  • Account Suspension or Termination: Any actions taken by Amazon, including account suspension or termination, resulting from your use of Amzigo or breach of Amazon policies.
  • Platform Downtime: Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, technical issues, or Amazon API changes.

Termination and Suspension of Services

Amzigo may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time if:

  • You violate these terms or applicable laws.
  • You use the platform in a way that harms its functionality or security.
  • Your Amazon account is suspended or terminated by Amazon.

In such cases, Amzigo will notify you of the reason for suspension or termination. Amzigo is not responsible for any resulting loss.

Updates and Changes to Amazon Integration

Amazon may update its API, platform, or policies at any time, which may affect Amzigo’s features. We will make every effort to adjust our platform accordingly and inform users of material changes.

Amzigo also reserves the right to update this Amazon Integration Policy to reflect service changes or new Amazon requirements. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of Amzigo constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
